June 12, 2010 - Men's team national champs of 6v6 Budweiser Cup, now off to South Africa

TORONTO, Canada - Our Cap U Men's team won the final of this event on penalty kicks. They are now off to South Africa for the world finals, the Global Beer Champions, to be played on July 1, 2010 in a FIFA World Cup Stadium, Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria. The highly successful 6v6 Budweiser Cup has evolved into an international amateur event, featuring soccer teams from around the world.

Members of the winning team include: Ahmad Berjawi, Abdullahi Abunefeesa, Kyle Washington, Wade Washington, Mark Krocko, Shawn Ord, Pat Zanetti and Joel Musambi. Congrats gents: be sure to enjoy the suds after your matches in South Africa!
