Are You a Good Fit?

We always need to find new coaches to support our ever- growing program. If you share a passion for the game, love to teach and have experience playing the game, you may be a good fit with our coaching team. And, for us, that is key - the ability to work with our team, to teach using the same methods within our prescribed systems of play. We do need coaches to have their required OSA certifications, but what we really want are coaches who are qualified based on their training and playing experience.

If you have questions about coaching at FC Capital United Soccer Club, you may contact Raz El-Asmar, our Director of Youth Development at diryouth@fccapitalunited.com, or Traian Mateas, our Club Head Coach, at tmateas@rogers.com.

Volunteer Screening and Police Records Check Required

Coaches must complete a Police Records Check Application Form each year. This is a requirement for Managers, Coaches and Trainers because they have direct contact with children in our Club. It is consistent with our protocol for Volunteer Screening (click on the link for more details). Coaching candidates must also complete the Coaching Application Form and provide their coaching CV.

To download these forms, click on the links below. Also be sure to download and complete the Exempt Letter from the Club and return it with your Police Records Check Application. The Exempt Letter ensures that the Application fee is waived when you submit your application. Your completed application forms, Coaching CV and Exempt Letter must be returned to Traian Mateas, our Club Head Coach, at tmateas@rogers.com.
