FC Capital United Soccer Club and our Club Academy are very excited to announce a formal partnership with Toronto FC to run a Club Academy Program (CAP). Working with Academy coaches at Toronto FC, our players and coaches will further develop their skills and competencies for higher levels of the game. For our athletes in particular, the goal is also to help them open more doors for their future in soccer. More details are included in this CAP Letter from Toronto FC Academy Manager, Stuart Neely. Stuart is pictured below (in red), after running a training session with our 96 Boys in January 2011.




















Staff coaches are working with Toronto FC Academy coaches to develop a schedule for training, review curriculum and identify players. The Club Head Coach, Traian Mateas, and members of the Club's Technical Committee identify players to participate in the Academy, along with coaches from the Toronto FC Academy. Players outside the Club can apply to participate in the Academy via e-mail to the Club Head Coach, tmateas@rogers.com, by completing the following form, Application for Capital United Academy.
