Miki Cantave back from a successful trip to the FC Nantes Academy! Miki, or Micka as named by his peers in France, just returned from a successful 2 weeks' trip to the FC Nantes Academy! Miki, born in 96', has grown up with Capital United since he took the field at the age of 5 in our
Youth Development Program; since his first introduction to soccer, Miki has always had a fond passion and desire for the soccer ball. Miki loves spending time on the ball for endless hours. Miki currently plays for our U13 Boys L3 squad who have just been promoted to the OYSL level.

Miki was first noticed in May 2007 when he joined, as an under-aged player, our U13 boys (95' age group) at the time in their trip to our annual destination to the Plomelin International Tournament and Nantes where the club has been collaborating with FC Nantes, one of the most reknowned European pro-clubs to develop young players, for a number of years, including interaction and exchanges with coaches and players.

Miki was then spotted again this past May by coaches at the FC Nantes during the team training sessions. Miki was invited most recently to train for two weeks with the FC Nantes U14 academy group. During his stay, Miki quickly made an impact with his technical skills and athletic abilities! Miki is now looking forward to going next April as he has been invited back to participate in the U14 Academy squad's planned tournaments in 2010! Way to go back Miki! The Capital United family is very excited and proud of your accomplishments thus far!
