Children's
Fitness Tax Credit
Information for our members on eligibility for the Children’s Fitness
Tax Credit and process for Tax Receipts
The Government of Canada proposes to allow,
starting in 2007, a non-refundable tax credit on eligible amounts of up to
$500 paid by parents to register a child, under the age of 16, in an eligible
program of physical activity.
The proposed children's fitness tax credit will
allow parents to claim a maximum of $500 per year for eligible fees paid for
each child who is under 16 at any time during the year.
Please refer to the following Canada
Revenue Agency link for more details;

Tax receipts will be issued automatically to those who register on-line; the rest of our members can make the request and receive their Tax receipts via their respective Team Manager. For those registering in the YDP Program (U4-U11), requests should be made directly to the Club Registrar
IMPORTANT NOTE: Tax receipts under this program apply only for
amounts paid in 2007 and
after (not 2006).
