Helping to bring a smile and some hope to those who need it
Sometimes, it can be difficult to write about things that tug at your heart. Thankfully, a single photo can tell the story
without the need for many words.
Our Club annually supports the Field of Dreams Project. Spearheaded by Debborah Evraire, this initiative collects gently-used soccer gear and clothing from our members and the broader soccer community in and around Ottawa to send to kids in Namibia. The ultimate goal of this project is to bring
a ray of sunshine and hope to young people who share our passion for the world’s greatest sport, yet who are much less fortunate than ourselves. The photo below
