OTTAWA, ONTARIO - The Club's Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held Sunday January 22, 2012, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, at the Beacon Hill Community Centre. Please plan to attend. This is your chance to help set the direction for the Club. We urge you to do your part.

November 28, 2011 - 95 Girls help Santa collect toys
ORLEANS, ONTARIO - Our team of 95 Girls and other hard-working volunteers worked the parade route for the recent Parade of Lights to gather presents for Santa. These gifts go to young kids who might otherwise not have much to celebrate over the holiday season. You guys always seem to impress us. Members of the toy collection crew included: Kumar Saha, Susan Attack-Brousseau, Sapphire Evraire-Chance, Elisa Soares, Hayley Sprigings, Emily Lamadeleine, Debborah Evraire, Tessa Ritchie, Genvieve Gignac, Vanessa Germano, Arielle Kabangu, Anais Robert, Vanessa El-Asmar, Sabrina Bray, Kelsey Saha, Kendra Ridley, Emily Copeland-Dinan and Clare Gibbons.

November 14, 2011 - Former youth players making noise at bigger venues
OTTAWA, ONTARIO - Haisha Cantave and Bezick Evraire Chance were recently honoured for their outstanding achievements on the soccer pitch, albiet on a bigger stage. Both are former youth players with Capital United.
Haisha was a starter with Darton College in Albany Georgia this season. Her strong performance earned her a conference second team all-star selection.
Bezick, who plays for the Dalhousie University Tigers men's soccer team in Halifax, Nova Scotia, received rookie of the year honours for the Atlantic conference. He was named a conference second team all-star.

Opinion Poll
Over half of poll respondents correctly predicted that neither Toronto FC nor Vancouver Whitecaps were going to make the MLS playoffs this year. However, 6% thought both teams were in for sure. They must have responded to the poll back in June or July when this was first posted.
